How Blue Lotus
AI Works

Blue Lotus connects to your existing advertising accounts, analyzes campaign performance, and surfaces concise summaries and suggestions for you to review.

1. Connect — you sign in with Google or Microsoft

When you choose to connect an account, you are redirected to Google’s or Microsoft’s own consent screen — not a form on our site — to review what the product requests and approve access.

What the product requests:
  • Google Ads data via the Google Ads API (campaign structure and performance). In technical terms, this corresponds to the Google Ads scope that covers managing existing campaigns and reading performance.
  • Microsoft Advertising data via the Microsoft Advertising API for the accounts you select.

The product requests only advertising data needed to provide summaries, alerts, and recommendations. The specific data accessed is described in our Privacy Policy.

After you approve, the service receives a short-lived access token and a refresh token to maintain the connection you approved. OAuth tokens are stored securely on the server, encrypted at rest, and never exposed to the browser. See Security.

2. Choose accounts to analyze

After connecting, you select which advertiser accounts you want Blue Lotus to analyze from those your login can access. The product does not create new advertising accounts.

3. Analysis — read, summarize, and suggest

Once connected, Blue Lotus:

  1. Reads campaign, ad group, budget, spend, and performance data for the accounts you selected.
  2. Aggregates that data by campaign and time window.
  3. Generates a concise summary, surfaces alerts for goals or pacing changes, and suggests possible next steps with supporting rationale.
  4. Presents results for you to review. Raw advertising data used for an analysis is processed transiently and deleted within 24 hours and immediately when you disconnect. See Privacy — Retention.

4. Notifications — for your review

Blue Lotus surfaces alerts and summaries for you to review in the product and by email. For example, an illustrative alert might note that a campaign has reached a target you set. Email notifications include clear sender information and an unsubscribe link. The product does not send SMS.

5. You decide what to do

Each suggestion shows the underlying metric and time range so you can evaluate it. No changes are made to your advertising accounts without your review and approval. You can also dismiss or snooze items you don’t want to act on.

6. Revoke access at any time

You can disconnect within the product or revoke access from your Google Account permissions page or Microsoft account settings. Disconnecting an account immediately stops syncing and deletes the associated credentials and transient account data. See Privacy — Revocation.
